A number increased from 120 to 150. By what percent, of its original value, did this number increase?

We need to find the increased percent from 120 to
150.

First we need to find the difference between the
numbers.

==> 150 - 120 =
30

Now we will find the ration between the difference and
the original number which is 120.

==> 30
/120 = 1/4 = 0.25

Now we will multiply by
100&

==> 0.25 = 0.25*100 % =
25%

Then the increased percent is
25% from the original number.
