It can be easy to get confused between mean, median, and
mode.
The mean is the average. To get this you add up all
the numbers and divide by the amount of numbers you added
up.
The median is simply the middle of the number
list.
The mode is the number or value that occurs the most.
(Good tip: If there is no number that is repeated in a number list/data set, there is no
mode for that list.)
In this case, since the mode is the
number that occurs the most in the list you can look through the frequency list and find
the highest number. The highest number is 14. Then you look at the other list to see
which number occurs 14 times, which is 26. Therefore the mode for the data set is
26.
