Name a character in To Kill a Mockingbird that shows courage.I already have three examples: Atticus, who defends Tom Robinson despite knowing Tom...

You already have chosen the three characters from
To Kill a Mockingbird who are most widely considered the most
courageous in the novel. I would also suggest that Jem often shows courage in the story.
He risks another shotgun blast or mutilation by Boo when he returns to the Radley house
to retrieve his lost pants. He stands up to Atticus outside the jail in front of the
impending lynch mob. And he tries to protect Scout when he does his best to fight off
Bob Ewell's attack on the two children. Another character is Dolphus Raymond, who shows
his own personal courage with his choice to live his life his own way--with his
African-American girlfriend on the black side of town. He loses the respect of the white
populace of Maycomb in the process.
