Man is evil and all-consuming, according to Old Major, the
prize Middle White boar and leader of the animals in George Orwell's Animal
Farm. The freedom that humans enjoy is probably the biggest difference
between man and animals. Animals are slaves to man, who profits from the toil of
animals. Man takes the products of animals and then uses them for their own good while
allowing animals just enough sustenance to sustain life. Another distinctive point is
the physical differences between the two.

"Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a
friend."
Any attempt to
resemble man is also evil. Wild creatures, such as rats and rabbits, should be
considered friends and allies of all animals.
